After the huge fuss and trouble of releasing this patch for custom IOS 38 it is finally here! A big thanks to Waninkoko for this release!
Download: cIOS38rev12 package
Optional Download: cIOS38rev12 wad file (Required for offline installation.)
# Main Features #
-Microphone support! No need to purchase the WiiSpeak microphone!
-LU64+serial numbered wii support.
# Network Installation #
-Download and extract the package.
-Read the readme files and documentation.
-Copy over the folder entitled “cIOS38″ to your SD card in the path SD:/Apps/
-When prompted use cIOS 249.
-Load the application from the homebrew channel and select network installation.
Follow the onscreen text.
# Offline Installation #
-Download and extract the package as well as the cIOS wad file.
-Read the readme files and documentation.
-Copy over the folder entitled “cIOS38″ to your SD card in the path SD:/Apps/
-Copy over “IOS38-64-v3610.wad” to the root of your SD card.
-Load the application from the homebrew channel and when prompted use cIOS 249.
-When you have the option select “WAD Installation”.
Follow the onscreen text.
# Troubleshooting #
-If your hard drive doesn’t work after the patch then switch to the other USB port and it should then work.

me too, i get error -2011 when installing the last download or file (from WAD), i have tried both download and wad….i also cant see the option to install cios 249…there is only 253 in that range

When i try to install it with the WAD i get the error ret -1
What i need to do?
Will this work with a 3.2U version Wii?
After installing this to get microphone support, i get:
Error 001 unauthorized device has been detected
any ideas?
What does it say when you try Offline install. If you haven’t tried it already, please do so. It may have been a wifi error.
When i run the installer it downloads 17 patchs in 3 packs applied them then adds contents. then when it says installing custom ios it come up error -2011 on a network install

You need to use cIOS 249 installer, find it on the Apps page.
