  2. @blytant I had that problem when I very first tried homebrew too! You need to search for an instructables post via a search engine about installing cIOS249, you need to do something different to the regular installation method. Thanks for your comment, hope this helps. Anymore problems, just gimme a shout.

  3. di i need a cIOS rev to install this one? i mean do you need the rev 12 to install the 13 or can i just jump or skip from the 9 or 10 i dont remember wich rev i have and install the 13 ??

  4. When I run the installer it asks for which cIOS which version do I pick?
    Cios249 isn’t selectable

  5. perfect … fixed all my 002, 001 errors … thanks .. !!!

keep up the good work .. >:]

  6. @Ether2802 this is A, look for the B update on this site.

  7. Is this rev13A or rev13B…??

  8. @Chris as far as i know there is no other way, but it is pretty straightforward to downgrade; i had 4.0E and couldn’t install any cIOS’s but i followed the tutorial here:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/14650-how-downgrade-sys-menu-4-no-cios.html
it worked like a charm, and i didnt even run the IOS downgrader they mention in step 8 i just followed the rest of the steps leading up to it. I can even install WADs now which i couldn’t before (downside is i didn’t know you needed the classic gamepad to play the virtual console games so kind of a waste as i don’t have any!)

  9. You know so many interesting infomation. You might be very wise. I like such people. Don’t top writing.

  10. Hi,
I am wondering if you know of a way to install this custom IOS on a Wii 4.0E without downgrading IOS35. I have HBC and DVDx installed using bannerbomb. When I use t he installer for cIOS (rev9 and rev13) I get that error 2011 when it gets to the actual install of the custom IOS to NAND memory. I realize it’s a bit hopeless, but I don’t want to mess with my factory original IOSes. Maybe Waninkoko will develop an installer that can use the newer IOSes. One can hope. Can you provide any clues? Thank you.

Thanks for the fast reply, I don’t think I will bother since I don’t have a microphone or intend getting one for the wii.

  12. @Michael Johnson It’s required for using custom microphones with backups and official games. My advice to decide is for you to read the Documentation within the package.

  13. Is this required? If not, is it important?
